Sydney Sweeney Buys A Waterfront Estate In The Florida Keys To Work On Her Tan
I have a confession to make. I’m a big fan of Sydney Sweeney. If you haven’t seen her in the HBO show Euphoria you need to hurry up and binge the entire series! Sydney Sweeney is a phenomenal actress, and her talent goes way beyond just her good looks.
While Sydney Sweeney is most recently known for playing Cassie Howard on Euphoria, she’s been in around 30 movies during her career including recent hits such as The White Lotus, The Handmaid's Tale, and Anyone But You, then we have some duds like Madame Web, which Sydney Sweeney was great in, but the writing in the movie was such crap she didn’t have much to work with, but I digress.
With all these hit TV shows and movies under her belt, Sydney Sweeney is rewarding herself by expanding her real estate portfolio with the purchase of a waterfront estate in the Florida Keys.
Sydney Sweeney just purchased this Florida Keys estate for a staggering $13.5 million. In fact, this purchase in the Summerland Key estate stands out as the most expensive property bought in the area over the past six months! The waterfront estate was initially listed at nearly $18 million, but looks like Sydney got a great deal on this luxurious retreat!
The mansion, designed with an eye for both luxury and comfort, boasts expansive ocean views that provide a serene backdrop to everyday living. The property includes a private dock, perfect for boating enthusiasts, and ensures direct access to the sparkling waters of the Florida Keys. The outdoor area is a true entertainer’s dream, featuring a spacious patio, a state-of-the-art infinity pool, and a hot tub, all designed to maximize the enjoyment of the idyllic climate and picturesque surroundings.
Inside, the home is equally impressive. It features an open-concept living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the interior with natural light and offering uninterrupted views of the ocean. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinetry, and a large island, making it a perfect space for both casual dining and formal entertaining. The property also includes multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, each designed with modern elegance and comfort in mind.
Additional amenities include a home theater, a fitness center, and a private guest house, ensuring that every possible need and want is catered to within the confines of the estate. Sydney Sweeney’s new home is a testament to her rising success and her taste for exquisite real estate investments.
And every oceanfront property needs some toys to go along with it, so Sydney Sweeney recently splurged on a Fiat 500 Jolly for $68,500 from Hampton Jollys, which is a fun convertible beach vehicle reminiscent of a cross between a golf cart and a dune buggy.
The Fiat 500 Jolly was first built in 1957 Gianni Agnelli’s company Ghia based in Turin, Italy. He wanted to create a one-of-a-kind vehicle that would be great for a day at the beach. Fastforward, and the Fiat 500 Jolly has become famous for its Italian craftsmanship, and a number of celebrities including Grace Kelly who famously owned a red Jolly, and Jackie Onassis had a white Jolly. Even former president Lyndon B. Johnson drove a Fiat 500 Jolly. Now add to that list Sydney Sweeney with her newly purchased Fiat 500 Jolly.
This isn’t Sydney Sweeney’s first big real estate purchase. In 2021 the star paid $3 million dollars for the stunning 3,200-square-foot mansion in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, and came with five bedrooms, and four bathrooms, with the master bedroom having a fireplace, a vaulted wood ceiling, and a built-in reading alcove.
In 2022 Sydney Sweeney purchased her family’s old home that her great-grandma used to own, and where both her grandma and mother were all born. As her great-grandparents got older they weren’t able to afford the home anymore and eventually had to sell it. Then in 2022 in swooped Sydney Sweeney to buy the home back from the current owns some her family could live there once again. What a sweet story!
Sydney Sweeney wasn’t done with those purchases. In 2023 she picked up a fixer-upper in Bel Air, California for $6.2 million while neighboring properties were going for $20 million dollars plus. The home sits on 1.25 acres, and has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. She apparently saw something in this old home, and hopefully will renovate it and bring it back to its old glory.
Sydney Sweeney’s purchase of this amazing waterfront estate in the Florida Keys is sure to be the crown jewel of her growing real estate empire.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Spurges On 2 Vacation Homes Next To Each Other In Greece
Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks star, has expanded his real estate portfolio by purchasing not one but two luxurious vacation homes in his native Greece. Located in the upscale Costa Navarino Residences in Messinia, these properties are a testament to his success both on and off the court.
Each home features private pools, spacious outdoor areas, and stunning views of the Ionian Sea. These acquisitions reflect Giannis's desire to stay connected to his roots and provide a luxurious retreat for his family and friends.
Jessica Chastain Is Selling Her Manhattan Apartment That Was Once Owned By The Famous Conductor Leonard Bernstein
Jessica Chastain is saying goodbye to her historic Manhattan apartment, and has listed it for $7.45 million dollars. She originally purchased the home for $5.1 million in 2015, so she’s about to turn a $2.35 million dollar profit!
Located in the historic Osborne building, this four bedroom, three bath apartment combines luxurious Gilded Age details with modern renovations. Originally built in 1885, the apartment features restored mahogany paneling, carved doorways, oak parquet floors, and Tiffany Studios leaded glass windows. The living room boasts a wood-burning fireplace and high ceilings, while the parlor evokes a grand bygone era with its period hardware and cozy fireplace.
The eat-in kitchen includes a 14-foot ceiling, custom central island, and top-of-the-line appliances, adding both practicality and charm. The primary bedroom has another fireplace, mirrored closets, and an adjacent bathroom with a bespoke copper-soaking tub and walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms offer views of Carnegie Hall and ample space for guests or family members.
Jessica Chastain and her husband purchased the apartment in 2015 and enlisted Architectural Digest designers to enhance its classic elegance. The property has a storied past, with previous residents including Leonard Bernstein, making it a perfect match for those who appreciate Old Hollywood and Gilded Age aesthetics.
Who was Leonard Bernstein you might be wondering, and why should you care? Allow me the honor of dropping some knowledge on you dear listeners.
Leonard Bernstein was a renowned American composer, conductor, pianist, and educator. Born on August 25, 1918, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he became one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Bernstein is best known for his work as the music director of the New York Philharmonic, a position he held from 1958 to 1969, and for his compositions, which include the score for the musical "West Side Story." Bernstein's diverse body of work spans classical symphonies, operas, ballets, and film scores. Leonard Bernstein passed away on October 14, 1990, but his legacy continues to inspire musicians and music lovers worldwide.
Back to Jessica Chastain’s home.
This isn’t the only home in NYC that Jessica Chastain has owned. In 2012, she purchased a Greenwich Village condo for around $1.2 million. The 1,248 sq ft duplex featured two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a chef’s kitchen. Its high ceilings, curved stairs, pastel walls, and simple furniture reflected the actress's elegant style. The living room was illuminated by three large windows, with a rug, walls, and furniture in soft tones complementing plum-shaded couches. A rustic wooden table added to the ambiance. The modern U-shaped kitchen was fully equipped with ample storage, a modular chimney, and top-notch appliances. And lastly, the master bedroom and bathroom are also well-appointed, making the condo a comfortable living space for Jessica Chastain. In 2015, Jessica Chastain sold the property for about $1.9 million, turning a tidy profit of $700K.
Russell Wilson & Ciara Are Selling Their Lakefront Home For $31 Million Dollars
NFL star quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara recently sold their Bellevue, Washington estate for $21.25 million. The couple originally purchased the property in 2015 for $6.7 million, transforming it into a luxurious retreat over the years. The 11,000-square-foot mansion is situated on the shores of Lake Washington and boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a plethora of upscale amenities.
The property features a professional gym, a yoga studio, a sports court, a play structure, and a recording studio tailored for Ciara. Outdoors, the estate offers multiple patios, terraced gardens, private beaches, and a dock capable of accommodating four boats, including a 60-foot yacht. The waterfront home also includes a tram that leads to the lake's edge.
A tram people! This is next level luxuriousness. (is that even a word?)
The home is nestled in the Meydenbauer Bay community and provides stunning views of the Seattle skyline. Despite its appeal, the estate was on the market for nearly two years, which is practically a lifetime in real estate, and it had an initial asking price of $28 million before undergoing several price reductions.
The sale underscores the high value and desirability of waterfront properties in the Seattle area. The buyer remains anonymous, listed as a revocable trust represented by the Schoen Trust Company. If I had to guess I’d say another star athlete is buying the home, or perhaps some rich tech executive from Seattle.
Mark Zuckerberg Is Building A New Real Estate Compound On Lake Tahoe
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta and the leading co-founder of Facebook, is significantly enhancing his real estate portfolio with a massive new compound in Lake Tahoe. The project, which has attracted considerable attention, involves constructing an extensive estate on the western shore of the lake. This development follows his purchase of two adjacent properties, the Carousel Estate and Brushwood Estate, in 2018 and 2019 respectively, for a total of $59 million.
The planned compound spans 75,000 square feet and will consist of seven buildings. These include a 20,000-square-foot main residence, several guest houses, a lakeside spa, a gym, and various other facilities like a security gatehouse, storage sheds, a home office, and a cottage. The architectural design, described as rustic and luxurious, aims to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, featuring dark timber and glass facades.
This new real estate development project coincides with a similar building spree Mark Zuckerberg is engaged in at his 1,400-acre $100 million dollar Hawaiian estate named Ko'olau (pronounced: KOO-OH-LAU) on the north-east side of the Hawaiian island Kauai (pronounced: kuh·wai·ee), that Mark Zuckerberg is also embarking on building an underground bunker fit for a billionaire. His new "Hawaiian apocalypse bunker" is being designed to withstand catastrophic events and provide a secure refuge for the tech magnate and his family.
And all these real estate expenditures are on top of the recent launch of his $300 million dollar superyacht named "Launchpad".
With a net worth estimated at $178 billion dollars according to Forbes, Mark Zuckerberg has never been one to shy away from flaunting his riches, whether through ambitious business ventures, expensive superyacht purchases, or building real estate compounds in some of the most expensive and beautiful locations around the world.
Mark Zuckerberg's Lake Tahoe estate is part of a broader trend where tech billionaires are significantly influencing the luxury real estate market in the region. His acquisitions and development plans have led to a surge in property values and increased interest from other high-net-worth individuals. The billionaire's involvement has not only highlighted Lake Tahoe's appeal but has also spurred concerns and hopes among locals about the scale and impact of such developments.
The properties were initially acquired through Golden Range LLC, a company managed by ICONIQ Capital, which handles Mark Zuckerberg’s finances. This clandestine approach ensured the purchases remained under the radar until development plans were officially submitted. Despite some initial skepticism, the early phases of construction have been described as tasteful by neighboring residents.
Overall, Mark Zuckerberg's Lake Tahoe project is just a recent example of a growing trend among tech moguls seeking expansive and secluded properties, further boosting the luxury real estate market in such desirable locations.
