The NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs Are Making A Hallmark Christmas Movie
The Hallmark Channel is known for their Christmas movies, and this year, the network is taking its festive spirit to the next level with a special movie called “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”.
I can’t wait!
I’m not even a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, although I do love how Patrick Mahomes slings a football sidearm.
This new Hallmark Christmas movie will feature fan-favorite actor Tyler Hynes, and promises to blend the magic of the holiday season with the excitement of football.
Since its first Christmas movie premiered in 2000, the Hallmark Channel has become a holiday season staple. Known for their feel-good narratives, picturesque settings, and wholesome themes, these films have cultivated a dedicated fan base. Each year, Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas" event features a slew of new movies, drawing millions of viewers who eagerly anticipate the network's heartwarming tales of love, family, and festive cheer.
The secret to Hallmark's Christmas movies is their consistent formula: relatable characters, romantic plotlines, and happy endings set against the backdrop of twinkling lights and snow-covered landscapes. This winning combination provides a comforting escape from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in a world where holiday wishes come true.
Hallmark's latest Christmas movie features the Kansas City Chiefs, blending the excitement of NFL football with the warmth of holiday romance.
What more could you want in a movie?!?!
The decision to incorporate the Kansas City Chiefs into a Hallmark Christmas movie is a testament to the team's cultural impact and popularity. The Kansas City Chiefs, with their dedicated fan base and recent Super Bowl successes, are a community that aligns perfectly with the festive themes of Hallmark's holiday movies.
The movie will incorporate real-life elements from the Kansas City Chief' world, including appearances by team members and nods to the team's history and recent Super Bowl wins.
The Hallmark Channel's Christmas movies have become a beloved tradition, especially in my house, and the addition of the Kansas City Chiefs is going to combine to make for a great holiday movie that I know I’ll be watching.

Famous Rock Band Queen Sells Their Music Catalog For $1 Billion Dollars
The iconic British rock band Queen just closed a groundbreaking deal to sell their music catalog for over $1 Billion dollars!
For all you die-hard Queen fans out there this news probably doesn’t come as a surprise. Queen’s journey from their formation in 1970 to their global domination has been a saga of unparalleled creativity and brilliance. Each album, each song, and each live performance has cemented Queen's place in the annals of rock history. Hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You," and "Somebody to Love" have not only defined an era but have also transcended generations, continuing to resonate with new listeners worldwide.
I grew up hearing my dad listen to these hits my entire childhood. Then when I saw the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie with my wife we were blown away with their story and the passion Freddie Mercury had for his art.
This historic sale of Queen’s music catalog is a reflection of Queen's timeless appeal and the immense value of their musical genius. It is a celebration of Freddie Mercury's flamboyant charisma, Brian May's electrifying guitar riffs, Roger Taylor's thunderous drumming, and John Deacon's groovy bass lines. Their combined talents have created a body of work that is both innovative and timeless, pushing the boundaries of rock and influencing countless artists.
The $1 Billion dollar valuation is not just a financial triumph; it is a cultural one. No other musical group has achieved this amazing valuation.
The only other musician to achieve such a lofty music catalog valuation is Michael Jackson, who posthumously recently saw his music catalog valued at over $1.2 Billion dollars when 50% of it was sold to Sony Music for $600 Million dollars.
Other musicians have been seizing the opportunity to sell their music catalogs while the market is on fire.
In September of 2023 Katy Perry sold master recording royalties and music publishing rights to her first five albums to Litmus Music in a deal reportedly worth $225 million.
In 2021 Bruce Springsteen sold his entire recorded music and publishing catalog to Sony Music for $500 million.
In January of 2023 Justin Bieber sold 100% percent of his publishing and artist royalties from his master recordings and neighboring rights on 290 of his songs up to December 31, 2021, for around $200 million.
In December of 2020 Bob Dylan sold his entire catalog of 600 songs to Universal Music for somewhere between $300 and $400 million dollars. That was for the rights to his lyrics and compositions. Then a few years later in 2022 Bob Dylan sold his entire back catalog of recorded music to Sony Music Entertainment in a deal worth between $150 and $200 million.
Queen's sale of their music catalog for $1 Billion dollars proves their music is not just a collection of songs, but instead are a rich, vibrant tapestry that continues to inspire and unite fans across the globe.
Vanilla Ice Has Built A Real Estate Empire
Vanilla Ice might be best known for this hit song “Ice Ice Baby” from the ‘90’s, but he’s made his real fortune from investing in real estate, flipping houses, and managing his growing real estate empire.
Vanilla Ice’s journey from a '90s rap sensation to a savvy real estate mogul is nothing short of impressive. The man has skills! His keen business acumen and passion for real estate led to the creation of "The Vanilla Ice Project," a successful home renovation show on the DIY Network, which showcases his ability to turn rundown houses into high-end real estate gems.
Vanilla Ice, born Robert Van Winkle, started flipping houses in the early 2000s, leveraging his eye for design and market trends to transform distressed properties into luxurious homes. His approach to flipping houses involves a meticulous process of selecting properties with potential, often in upscale neighborhoods, and then transforming them with high-quality materials and modern designs. He emphasizes the importance of understanding market demands, which allows him to make informed decisions that yield significant returns.
His real estate ventures extend beyond just flipping. Vanilla Ice also invests in long-term rental properties and commercial real estate, further diversifying his portfolio. This strategic approach has earned him millions and a reputation as a serious player in the real estate industry.
One of Vanilla Ice’s secrets is buying properties that have tax liens on them, sometimes right on the courthouse steps before they ever even hit the open market. Then he just lets them sit, not even renovating them sometimes for years until they’ve appreciated in value. Sometimes he does renovate them, oftentimes featuring them on his hit show "The Vanilla Ice Project", or he just sells them off as-is taking a quick profit. Then he rinses-and-repeats. He’s got a whole system down, and even teaches a class on investing in real estate and flipping properties.
In addition to his house-flipping success, Vanilla Ice owns numerous homes and properties across the United States. His real estate empire includes luxurious mansions, rental properties, and commercial buildings. This extensive portfolio not only generates substantial passive income but also serves as a testament to his business savvy. Ice's ability to identify lucrative opportunities and his dedication to maintaining and enhancing his properties have been key factors in his sustained financial success.
His show "The Vanilla Ice Project" first aired in 2010 and has since produced over 100 episodes across 10 seasons. The show follows Vanilla Ice and his dedicated crew as they tackle extensive renovations, turning dilapidated properties into stunning, modern homes. The crew includes a team of skilled contractors, designers, and real estate experts who work collaboratively to bring Ice's vision to life. Their combined expertise ensures that each project not only meets high standards of quality but also appeals to the luxury real estate market.
While Vanilla Ice's real estate career has flourished, he has never completely left the music scene. Best known for his hit single "Ice Ice Baby," which topped the charts in the early '90s, Vanilla Ice continues to release music and perform. Though he never replicated the massive success of his debut hit, his music career laid the foundation for his later ventures and kept him in the public eye.
Vanilla Ice's diversified career has significantly contributed to his net worth, estimated to be around $20 million. His success in real estate, coupled with his enduring presence in the entertainment industry, showcases his versatility and resilience. From a one-hit-wonder rapper to a multimillion-dollar real estate investor, Vanilla Ice has defied the odds and reinvented himself as a formidable entrepreneur.
